Rescue workers lift fallen marble slabs from the body of the worker killed while unloading a delivery truck at a company in Pathum Thani's Lam Luk Ka district on Thursday night. Police called to the scene about 10.50pm found the dead body of Akkharadet Lertdee, 50, trapped beneath a pile of marble slabs. On Thursday they began unloading marble from a truck about 4pm, and took a break a 10pm. But as they began removing the marble, some of the slabs suddenly toppled over on top of them. Police said the marble slabs measured 160cm x 270cm and weighed 200kg each.
